Penn State and Herman Cain
College students don't care about the victims, and Republicans don't care about the victims...They both want to kill the messenger, the media...The college kids are just stupid...but does this mean Republicans have embraced the free-love feelings of the '60's.

When supposedly Christian people abuse kids and cover it up...when supposedly Christian political pundits (there's an oxymoron for you) accuse opponents of falsehoods, when they lie....when they back greed....I had to stop going, it was not how I was brought up, and not what I learned in school...

Ron Paul wins straw poll...with less than 550 voters...Come on...how many straw polls does Iowa have...? Shouldn't they be concentrating on bringing in the crops?

WTF?
What happens when individuals get pushed into positions, or elevated to positions for which they're not qualified? We've talked about this a lot. This is a problem with affirmative action, is that people get pushed, pushed, pushed farther than their abilities can match the position, and then they just keep failing ... And what happened with Obama is that he gets this job that he's not qualified for. ... And guess who pays the price? All of us. Because we had such a yearning for history. Well I have a question. Herman Cain, if he became president, he would be the first black president, when you measure it by -- because he doesn't -- does he have a white mother, white father, grandparents, no, right? So Herman Cain, he could say that he's -- he's -- he's the first, uh -- he could make the claim to be the first -- yeah, the first Main Street black Republican to be the president of the United States. Right? He's historic too," - Laura Ingraham.
IBD/TIPP Poll
An Investor Business Daily Poll out suggests only 38% of Independents endorse Obama. To me, an Independent voter is politically savvy on the operations of the government. I have to question the respondents to a poll that see Obama at fault for the current mess. Independent voters would know that Obama inherited a clusterf*ck and tried to set the country right, by passing a stimulas bill to head off a depression, and keeping a campaign promise. Independents would have seen the obstruction of the Republicans in Congress, and the lack of a spine by the Democrats in Congress. I suspect, that those that call themselves Independents in an Investor's Business Daily poll, are in fact, partisan republicans who have hijacked the tea party away from the Ron Paulites. This is my version of the vast republican conspiracy, I guess...another example of a part of the population yearning to be right, about SOMETHING!!!...to be finally proven of sound mind, when in the end...they will never admit to a honest review of their choices and actions.
A-Rod Strikes(out) Again!
Asking for $20's of millions of dollars would be acceptable if you produced in the clutch. The Yankees pay Alex Rodriguez the huge sum -He asked for- because he is supposed to come through in the clutch. I would have empathy for him if he said, 'ya know, I am rich already', I'll play for $10 million a year. Instead he asks for the most, and strikes out twice (once with the bases loaded and the last time, as the last out in a 3-2 series deciding game)...You want $30 million? YOU HAVE TO COME THROUGH!!!!!!
